This policy explains what TenPrint Software does with personal data on tenprintsoftware.com and inside the macOS applications listed on this site. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell or share it.
Who is responsible
TenPrint Software is an independent software studio based in Hungary. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to [email protected].
What this website collects
- No analytics and no tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party script that profiles you. Fonts are served from our own domain, so no request leaves for a font provider.
- No cookies for tracking. The site stores two values in your browser's local storage — your chosen theme and your chosen language. They stay on your device and are never transmitted.
- Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare Pages, keeps short-lived request logs containing IP address, user agent, and requested URL. These are used for security and abuse prevention only.
When you contact us
If you use the support or feedback form, we receive the message you wrote, your email address, and the optional name, product, topic, and version fields you filled in. We use them solely to answer you and to improve the product you wrote about. The message is delivered to our inbox by email and is not stored in any other system, not used for marketing, and never passed to a third party for their own purposes.
Support correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed and no longer useful as a record, normally within 24 months. You are never added to a mailing list — we do not run one.
What the applications collect
Our macOS applications have no accounts and no telemetry. Settings, layouts, and preferences are stored in your own user library folder and never leave your Mac. The only network requests an application makes are:
- Update checks against the product's own website, to see whether a newer version exists. This sends nothing beyond the standard information contained in any HTTP request.
- Licence validation, in paid applications only, to confirm that a licence key is valid. This sends the licence key and a machine identifier derived on your device.
Purchases
Payments are processed by an external merchant of record acting as the seller. They collect the billing details required to complete the transaction and to meet tax obligations, and they process that data as their own controller under their own privacy policy. We receive only the order reference, the licence key, and the email address needed to deliver the licence and to provide support.
Legal basis and your rights
Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interest for operating and securing the website, on contract performance for delivering purchases and licences, and on legitimate interest for answering the messages you send us. You may at any time ask what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will act on the request within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the updated date at the top of this page will change and the change will be described in a note here.
